Speak to licensed therapists, psychiatrists, and mental health professionals who can help you manage addiction, depression, stress or anxiety, domestic abuse, grief, and more.

  • For PPO participants: Your copy is $0 

  • For HDHP participants:

    • General medical visits: $55 consult fee until deductible is met. 

    • Mental health visits: See fee schedule.

    • The copay is $0 after the deductible is met,

INTERNATIONAL BENEFITS

BlueCard Program

The BlueCard Program gives you and your family access to covered services when you’re traveling internationally. 

  • Find providers in foreign destinations at blueshieldca.com/find-a-doctor. Select Coverage Outside of the U.S. and connect to Blue Shield Global Core.

    • Inside the US: Call the Global Core Service Center at 1-800-810-BLUE (2583) 

    • Outside the country: Call collect at 1-804-673-1177

  • In the event that there are no Global Core providers in the country, go to any provider, pay them directly for your health care services, and then submit the bill to Blue Shield for reimbursement.
